Setup
Bored Tahoe (lazy pineapple). Keep all three hole cards all the way. At showdown you may use none, one, or two of them — never all three.
Cards you use
0, 1, or 2 hole cards plus the board. Three hole cards in your five-card hand is illegal.
Ranking quirks
Standard high, after the 0–2 hole constraint. A three-flush in your hand plus two on the board is not a flush.
Betting streets
Betting starts with the hole cards you were dealt. Then a betting round.
Dealer adds 3 community cards to the main board. Then a betting round.
Dealer adds 1 community card to the main board. Then a betting round.
Dealer adds 1 community card to the main board. Then a betting round.
A short sample
You keep them. Do not use all three in the final five.
Two hearts on the board would need a third heart from the board, or you may only use two of your hearts.
